Manufactured 2025 Curator’s Notes Kasteel Tropical is a modern fruit beer from Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck, combining the brewery’s established Kasteel identity with a tropical flavour profile. This limited-edition glass reflects that approach: the traditional Kasteel goblet form is retained, including the distinctive castle-shaped stem, but the bowl is transformed with a colourful display of tropical fruit and foliage.
The gold rim and richly decorated bowl make this an unusually elaborate piece of Kasteel glassware. A nucleation design in the base shows that, despite its contemporary appearance, it remains a functional beer glass rather than simply a promotional object.
The glass appears to have been produced alongside the Kasteel Tropical range, launched in 2025. The tropical imagery leaves little doubt about the intended association: this is a glass designed to signal a departure from traditional Belgian beer presentation towards a more playful, flavour-led style of branding.
