Peizegem
About this Place
Peizegem is a village in the municipality of Merchtem, in Flemish Brabant, northwest of Brussels.
Its main connection to the Museum is Brouwerij De Block, the family brewery established here in the late nineteenth century and still producing a range of strong Belgian ales, including the distinctive Satan beers.
Peizegem is a small place rather than a major visitor destination, but the brewery gives it a clear place in Belgium’s brewing geography.
