About this Brewery

Belgium Peak Beer stands in the High Fens nature reserve, close to Signal de Botrange, Belgium’s natural highest point at 694 metres. The project was conceived in 2016 by friends Victor and Gauthier, who chose the location for its landscape and distinctive local water. Construction began in early 2017, the first beer was brewed that October and the brewery officially opened in February 2018.

The original range comprised Blonde, Brune, Triple and Myrtille, a blueberry beer inspired by the fruit of the High Fens. It has since expanded to include IPA, Blanche, Grand Cru, alcohol-free and occasional barrel-aged beers. The brewery’s name, labels and logo all reflect its elevated setting, pine forests and familiar wooden walkways across the fens.

A restaurant, bar and shop are incorporated into the brewery, making it a popular stopping point for walkers and visitors to Signal de Botrange.
