About this Place
Wakken is a village in the municipality of Dentergem in West Flanders.
Its main brewing connection for the Museum is Brouwerij De Bie, which moved here in 2011 after earlier operating in Watou and Loker.
The brewery occupies a renovated farmstead on Vijvestraat and produces a broad range of artisanal beers, many carrying the brewery’s playful bee-themed branding.
