Melle
About this Place
Melle is a village in East Flanders and the home of Brouwerij Huyghe. Brewing activity at the site can be traced to 1654, while Léon Huyghe acquired the brewery in 1906. It is now best known for Delirium Tremens, launched in 1988 and instantly recognisable through its pink-elephant identity.

Brouwerij Huyghe offers guided brewery visits by prior reservation. Tours explain the brewery’s history and production process and conclude with a tasting. Check the current arrangements with the brewery before travelling.
