About this Brewery
Place: Leuven
Victoria is a Belgian strong blond beer brand created by AB InBev. Although it is presented as a distinct Belgian beer with its own identity, Victoria is not an independent brewery in the traditional sense. It belongs to AB InBev, the global brewing group whose Belgian heritage includes historic breweries such as Artois and Piedboeuf.
The beer was launched as a tribute to Belgian brewing tradition, taking its name from the Latin word for victory. Its story is linked to Brussels: Victoria celebrates the 1695 defence of the city by the archangel Saint Michael, Brussels’ patron saint.
Victoria is a strong blond beer at 8.5% ABV, brewed with 100% natural ingredients and a second fermentation in the bottle. The brand positions itself between modern premium beer marketing and the long tradition of Belgian blond ales.

Curator's Note
Victoria isn't a brewery, but a brand owned by AB InBev, who are based in Leuven. The Victoria brand is centred firmly in Brussels, hence that Place connection.
