About this Brewery

Place: Rochehaut

Brasserie de Rochehaut is a craft brewery in Rochehaut, in the Belgian Ardennes. It forms part of the wider Rochehaut Attractions complex and is closely integrated with its restaurants, shop and visitor attractions.

Brewer Arnaud Boreux produces a range of top-fermented beers carrying the Rochehaut name. The brewery emphasises local production, using soft water sourced within five kilometres, together with Belgian malt, and brews and bottles its beers on site. Visitors can see the brewery, taste the beers and buy them directly from the adjoining beer shop.

Curator's Note

Brasserie de Rochehaut forms part of an extensive visitor complex incorporating restaurants, shops, an agricultural museum and a forty-hectare wildlife park. Visitors can even arrive at the brewery by little tourist train, entering through the cellar before beginning their visit in darkness with a sound-and-light show about brewing.
