Brasserie Bertinchamps

Brasserie de Bertinchamps is a family brewery near Gembloux, founded by the Humblet family. In 2011 they discovered the derelict historic farm at Bertinchamps and began restoring it; brewing equipment was installed in the old barns in 2013.

The brewery combines modern production equipment with a farm site more than seven centuries old. Its range includes Bertinchamps Blonde, Brune, Triple and several seasonal and speciality beers. The large “B” at the heart of the brewery’s branding is deliberately open to interpretation: Bertinchamps, Belgium, Beer or Benoît, the family’s master brewer.

Bertinchamps is also unusually visitor-friendly for a smaller family brewery. Guided tours are offered by reservation at weekends, and the site includes a shop, bar and restaurant.
