Izegem
About this Place
Izegem is a city in West Flanders. Emelgem, now part of the city, is home to Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck’s Bierkasteel, which opened after the family brewery outgrew its historic site in nearby Ingelmunster. The modern brewery produces beers including Kasteel, Bacchus, St-Louis, Brigand and Filou. The separate Ingelmunster entry explains the brewery’s earlier history and the castle that gave Kasteel its name.
