About this Brewery
The Brew Society is a modern brewery in Heule, West Flanders, founded by brewer Björn Desmadryl. Established in 2016, it combines the production of its own beers with contract brewing for other beer companies, using facilities capable of making bottom-, top- and spontaneously fermented beers.
Martha, launched in 2018, is The Brew Society’s best-known house range. Its colourful branding was inspired by the story of a spirited local woman and brewer named Martha, remembered for her enjoyment of life. The range has included Sexy Blond, Guilty Pleasure, Brown Eyes, Tripel and several newer variations. The brewery also produces the Seven Sins range and SOSAB sour ales matured in oak foeders. Its mixture of serious brewing equipment and playful branding makes it a particularly contemporary Belgian brewery.
