About this Brewery
Brasserie Lupulus is a family brewery in Courtil, a village in the municipality of Gouvy in the Belgian Ardennes. It began in 2003 as Les 3 Fourquets, initially established to supply malt drinks on draught to the neighbouring tavern. In 2007, Pierre Gobron and his sons Julien and Tim developed Lupulus, originally sold in champagne-style bottles as well as on draught. The beer gave its name to the brewery itself in 2016, when Les 3 Fourquets became Brasserie Lupulus.
The brewery remains family-run and operates from a nineteenth-century Ardennes farm adapted to accommodate modern brewing facilities. Its range has expanded considerably beyond the original Lupulus Blonde and now includes dark, white, pils, fruit and hop-led beers as well as seasonal and alcohol-free releases.
